In week 17 our focus still remains on the gift of Christmas, Jesus! In the star of light project we revisit thinking about light and stained glass as we create a picture that emphasizes the focus on baby Jesus. First decide where your star will go on your page, Use a ruler to create a "shaft of light" coming from the star. After you have decided this fill the sky with line and shape for the places to paint watercolor and the "panes" of "stained glass". Materials
Inspiration Focus on the light of Jesus, the biggest gift of the season. He brings hope and light to the darkest season of the year. Use vibrant and deep colors to create the emphasis and drama of light and dark. Remember to work with your lightest colors first to create this dramatic effect!
